Job DetailsJob Location: Stockton, CA 95203Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $50.51 - $75.71 HourlyJob Shift: DayPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performs, under direction of the Nuclear Medicine Physician, all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures involving the use of radiopharmaceuticals, as well as all tasks required to satisfy requirements by the State Radioactive Materials License and Dameron Hospital Association Policies and Procedures. Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations, also be able to employ all mandatory safety devices and procedures. Must participate in the Respiratory Protection Program, which may include the wearing of a respirator. This is a non-union position. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Performs administrations of radiopharmaceuticals and perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures under the general supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Physician, as described in section 320521 of Title 17 of the California Code of Regulations. 2. Assists in the performance of therapeutic radiopharmaceutical administrations under the direct supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Physician, as described in section 320521 of Title 17 of the California Code of Regulations. 3. Maintains adequate records of radiopharmaceutical receipt, utilization, storage and waste disposal in accordance with state Radioactive Materials License requirements for the accountability of radioactive material possession and transport. 4. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness, including provision for contamination-free condition of rooms, equipment and personnel. 5. Maintains daily area survey records, weekly contamination survey, and other radiation exposure records as required by the Radioactive Materials License. 6. Performs daily instrument calibration and quality control procedures for all radiation detection equipment as required by the Radioactive Materials License. 7. Secures and returns supplies under direction of a supervisor. 8. Assists in the development of techniques for procedures and in use of a variety of equipment and procedures not routinely employed. 9. Assists with transportation of patients. FTE 1.0 - 07:30AM - 04:00PM QualificationsEducation: Graduation from accredited Nuclear Medicine education program. Experience: Educational clinical experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates: State of California Licensure to perform Nuclear Medicine Technology Current BLS Certification
