Job Details:
Modesto Opening #1
Full-time (5 days a week)
Modesto, CA (one site)
Age group: TK-5th grade
Caseload: 66 students (SLPA support)
Start: ASAP
Pay dependent on experience - starting at $78/hr
Stockton Opening #2
Part-time (3 days a week)
Stockton, CA (one site)
Age group: TK-5th grade
Caseload: 26 students
Start: ASAP
Pay dependent on experience - starting at $78/hr
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech and Communication from an accredited institution
Valid CA state license for Speech Language Pathology
Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs
Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist with Birch Agency, you will:
Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity
Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
Attend IEP Meetings
Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary
Consult with Teachers
Work as a part of Special Ed team
Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion
