A Day on the Dock

You'll roll in early (often around 7am) and the day will move with the tide and the trucks. Expect a mix of days and weekends, with the schedule shifting as the catch and wharf needs change. You might spend time buying lobster, buying and selling bait, and jumping into the tank room when extra hands are needed to grade lobster. It's steady, hands-on work with plenty of fresh air, and a satisfying "we moved a lot today" finish-usually by late afternoon.
