JOB DESCRIPTION         

Position Summary: Forklift Opr 027L - A001 - Storm Lake Pork

Pay: $23.90/HR

This position is responsible for transporting, loading, unloading, and moving materials in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Transport, load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility to support production and operational needs.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following all company safety procedures.
• Ensure materials are delivered to designated areas accurately and on schedule.
• Inspect materials and equipment for damage, defects, or safety concerns and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times.
• Follow inventory control procedures and assist with stock rotation and material organization.
• Support production and warehouse operations by coordinating material flow as needed.
• Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow, delays, or operational concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Work may be performed in warehouse, production, or refrigerated environments.
• Overtime, weekends, and flexible scheduling may be required based on operational needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Position may require standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
