We are looking for a talented Test Technician Associate to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Stoughton, WI. Where diesel expertise meets engineering innovation.

As a Test Technician Associate, you'll be responsible for operating sophisticated test equipment, supporting diesel engine and aftertreatment development programs, and ensuring accurate emissions measurements. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Build and prepare high-quality test articles and auxiliary equipment that enable safe, efficient, and repeatable testing operations.  

  • Install and configure test articles within test cells, rigs, and structures to ensure accurate setup alignment and reliable performance validation.  

  • Execute tests in strict accordance with established procedures and methodologies, helping maintain consistency, compliance, and technical integrity.  

  • Deliver accurate, dependable test data that engineers and stakeholders can confidently use to support design, certification, and performance decisions.  

  • Operate, configure, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems to capture meaningful results and improve the quality and reliability of test reporting.  

  • Apply deep knowledge of test equipment functionality to identify issues, validate results, and strengthen overall testing accuracy and efficiency.  

  • Support laboratory readiness by maintaining equipment, performing troubleshooting, and improving test stand setups to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.  

  • Collaborate with engineering teams by providing technical recommendations on equipment upgrades, supplier evaluations, instrumentation, and facility improvements that enhance testing capability and long-term operational success.
