About the Role:

Join the Stowe Motel team, a family-owned business, as a Maintenance professional and play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about maintaining a high standard of facility care in our beautiful Stowe, VT, location.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues before they affect guest experience.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and inventory of supplies.
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and work area.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Plumbing - Repair sinks, toilets, and showers with the ability to solder.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service.
