Description
Burn carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum plates to sizes and shapes using various burning equipment and check per drawing. Receive and unload steel trucks and check for quality and mill certifications. Maintain maintenance checklist, clean and maintain equipment, grind material as required and keep records on "T1 Steel." Keep work area safe, neat and clean.
Tools and Equipment: CNC burning machines, hand torches, CM95, Oxyfuel equipment, grinders, cranes, forklifts, and various hand tools as required, both powered and manual.
Requirements
Must be able to work 2nd shift.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, hands and arms, feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
