Position Summary
The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible fror managing the overall purchasing of genral material at an enterprise level. This requires working with multiple departments, understanding the logistical needs of each project, an making sound, cost effective decisions to meet the overall goal of the company's' success.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the overall purchasing of general material at an enterprise level. This requires working with multiple departments, understanding the logical needs of each project, and making sound, cost effective decisions to meet the overall goal of the company's success.
- Effectively managing and maintaining existing vendor partner relationships, while actively pursuing new and productive partnerships.
- Utilizing vendor partners relationships as an avenue to stay current on new products and training opportunities
- Working directly with the Planning and Fabrication departments, coordinating and overseeing the flow of materials
- Managing general material Request for Proposals (RFP's)
- Efficiently managing the purchasing process for field materials via Remarkable to ensure timely procurement and distribution
- Issue change orders as directed by the Project Manager
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical construction or electrical distribution
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly assimilate, effectively analyze, and successfully apply new information as the situation demand.Â
- Service oriented with proven success in handling heavy customer service responsibilities
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer and software skills, notably Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements
