Location: American Products, Strafford MO
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday | 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $17/hour

Job Summary

We are hiring a Product Assembler to build high-quality metal and plastic products for shipment. This role is ideal for candidates with assembly or manufacturing experience who take pride in accuracy, quality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble components using air, battery, and hand tools
  • Package finished goods including boxing, palletizing, and wrapping
  • Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and defect-free output
  • Perform basic testing of assembled products
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all safety standards and wear required PPE

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1+ year of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and shop floor documentation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Skills

  • Quality-focused with strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
  • Team-oriented with a reliable, professional work ethic

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk for long periods
  • Lift up to 50 lbs 
  • Perform repetitive hand movements and frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Must wear steel toe boots and safety glasses
