About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport goods to various locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to promote safety on the road.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving skills and safety practices.
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks in a professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends if necessary.
