Job DetailsJob Location: Stratford CT - Stratford, CT 06615Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $28.00 - $32.00 HourlyAs a CDLA Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport goods across local, regional, and extended routes. While driving is a key part of the role, this is a hands-on position that requires consistent physical labor in addition to time on the road. You’ll play an important role in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, on time, and in line with company and regulatory standards.  What You’ll Do Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CDL-A) Transport goods across local, regional, and long-haul routes as needed Load, secure, and unload materials properly to prevent damage Follow all DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safety procedures Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues Assist with manual labor, including lifting, moving, and handling materials Work closely with customers and team members to ensure smooth deliveries  What We’re Looking For Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record 2+ years of CDL-A driving experience Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical, repetitive work Load securement, heavy hauling, or construction experience is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays High school diploma or GED Why Join Meyer?What We Offer Competitive benefits to support your career, family, personal wellness, financial wellbeing, and retirement Opportunity to collaborate with talented teams across multiple states Inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages career development opportunities A culture encouraging work life balance  About Us Meyer is a Workplace Solutions company dedicated to helping organizations transform and make the most of their space.
