Primary Objectives of Position: Provide mechanical & tire service in a timely and efficient manner Assist in achieving the cooperative’s mission and goals Perform every task with outstanding customer service Adhere to all cooperative, federal, and state policies and procedures The ability to be flexible moving from job to job to keep all departments working   Ability to complete tasks in field situations unsupervised   Responsibilities of the Position: Communicating with customers regarding their needs Repair and maintenance of customer and company equipment Inspecting and assessing tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and tire overall health Recommending appropriate treatment or replacement of tire Repairing punctures and replacing faulty valves as needed Installing new tires per equipment specifications Balancing tires and completing wheel alignment procedures Keep accurate records of all service time and parts used Inform supervisor of inventory needs Ability to work well with others to accomplish a goal (teamwork) Perform vehicle repairs within guidelines of shop equipment provided only QualificationsQualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL License Familiar with DOT guidelines for equipment repair Be able to lift 50 lbs frequently Familiar Experience with vehicle repair
