Direct Hire CT Technologist Role $44.66 to $51.86 per hour in Stratford, New Jersey
Clinical Magnet (part of Icon Medical) is looking for a CT Technologist to join our partner's team in Stratford, New Jersey area.
This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY
Key Responsibilities:
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistently with the values of Jefferson.
- Operates CT scanners to produce radiographs according to departmental procedures; ensures the quality of pictures are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes. Â Â Â Â Â
- Ensures accurate positioning and proper preparation for patients during scanning procedures; conducts timely adjustments of patient position and/or medical dosages according to anatomical circumstances and other technical factors.
- Demonstrates proper filming procedure and critiques films to ensure accuracy and clarity for physician interpretation.
- Implements radiation safety guidelines and conduct proper radiation protection during the imaging process.
- Creates hardcopy record of exam via CD-R, films and data transfer to PACS. Completes exam in Radiology Information System. Performs QC on exam in PACS to maintain system and billing accuracy.
- Maintains CT Scanning equipment by performing scheduled cleaning, testing and documenting results; notifies supervision of malfunctioning equipment. Â Â Â Â Â
- Responsible for maintaining continuing education required for licenses and job position
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of RIS systems
- Knowledge of PAC’s systems
- IV Certification
- Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program and documentation of formal CT program.
- BLS
- CT Registry
Compensation and Schedule:
- Target rate is $44.66 - $51.86/hr, experience-based
- SELF-SCHEDULING
- Day and Night Shift Available (7a-7:30p OR 7p-7:30a)Â
- May be required to travel to other local facilities
