Join Our Leadership Team


We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Assistant Administrator. This leadership position works closely with the Administrator to oversee daily agency operations, ensure regulatory compliance, support clinical staff, and maintain the highest standards of patient care.


The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with exceptional organizational, communication, and management skills who is passionate about delivering quality home health services.


Position Responsibilities


  • Assist the Administrator in the daily management and operation of the agency.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to clinical and administrative staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) regulations, CMS Conditions of Participation, and agency policies.
  • Support quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
  • Assist with survey readiness, accreditation, and regulatory inspections.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, case managers, and community partners.
  • Monitor patient care outcomes and promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Assist with scheduling and operational oversight as needed.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
  • Assume Administrator responsibilities in their absence, when designated.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska
    , in good standing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with significant leadership experience.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in home health, hospice, hospital, or healthcare administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Nebraska home health regulations, CMS Conditions of Participation, and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) and Microsoft Office.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Valid Nebraska driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional travel between patient homes, referral sources, or agency offices, if required.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous experience as a Clinical Manager, Director of Nursing, Assistant Administrator, or Home Health Supervisor.
  • Experience with Medicare and Medicaid home health regulations.
  • Experience preparing agencies for state surveys or accreditation.
  • Knowledge of OASIS documentation and quality reporting.
  • Experience with EVV systems and home health software.
