MasterTech is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics in Streator, IL, to maintain and repair various over-the-road infrastructure maintenance equipment.
The position offers a starting salary of $34.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience, along with quarterly bonuses of approximately 6% of annual base pay.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a related field, such as heavy equipment or automotive.
Additional qualifications include knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as experience with diagnostic software and preferred welding skills.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday with a start time between 6AM and 8AM, and overtime opportunities are available.

MasterTech is on the search for experienced Diesel Mechanics in Streator, IL.

The successful Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of over-the-road infrastructure maintenance equipment, including vac trucks, street sweepers, pumps, plows, etc.

Compensation:

$34.00 - $38.00/hour to start based on experience.
Quarterly bonuses of around 6% of annual base pay.

Shift Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 6AM-8AM start time.
OT available

Key Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or related field (heavy equipment, oilfield, automotive, etc.)
Foundational knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Experience with OEM diagnostic software or other scanners.
Welding and fabrication experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Must have own set of tools.
