Job Summary:

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Human Resources Intern will work closely with the HR team to provide administrative support in areas related to, but not limited to recruiting, employee engagement, compliance maintenance, and procedure optimization.


Job Duties:

  • Updating job descriptions by collaborating with various departments and the HR team and to ensure a continual system of document format and accuracy.
  • Partners with the site Human Resource team to provide assistance in executing plans that optimize the organization.
  • See various audit processes through from start to finish, with the opportunity to drive how the project is accomplished.
  • Organization of files, employee documents, and other administrative files, electronically and physically.
  • Support employer branding, internally and externally.
  • Additional projects and tasks assigned as needed.


Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Class Standing of Junior or Senior in college, with foundational HR knowledge. 
  • Major of Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Communications, or related major preferred.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills; including strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Desire to learn about Human Resources in a corporate and manufacturing environment.
  • Previous administration experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential matters in a professional, time sensitive manner
  • Dynamic, flexible and proactive with a high level of personal credibility


Work Environment:

Position is carried out primarily in an office environment, in a factory setting. Sitting for long periods of time. Occasional need to lift light articles.
