Position Title:  Project Manager

Location:   Strongsville, Ohio

Reports To: Director of Project Management

 

Position Summary: Direct responsibility for successful management of contracts of various sizes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct representative to customer. Responsible for managing customer expectations and communication.
  • Complete P&L accountability for projects.
  • Sales hand-over meeting management and documentation.
  • Convey Contract design and scope requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with suppliers and engineering to ensure: customer interface of design, execution of design, and any potential warranty associated with design and supply.
  • Work closely with Operations groups to ensure timely completion of components.
  • Develop and communicate project schedule to stakeholders.
  • Work with procurement team to establish plans to ensure success of project.
  • Financial reporting to stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-shipment review and communicate action items appropriately.
  • Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to (depending upon company needs and available resources):
    • Procurement activities.
    • Part Order management.
    • Rebuild Order management.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience of direct project management experience, preferably in a capital equipment environment.
  • Job execution through an ERP process.
  • Excellent oral and written skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management, vendors, and customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to create and manage project schedules.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented and possessing a “Can-Do" attitude. Able to thrive in a fast paced, highly flexible environment.
  • Education Required:
    • Bachelor of Science preferred (will consider significant experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree).
    • Experience negotiating contracts >$1M with highly technical terms and conditions.
    • PMP Certification is preferred, but not required.
