We value diversity, educate on equity, and create inclusive partner opportunities to ensure that you know #UBelongAtUHM!   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Research and identify innovative software and technology- based solutions that create increased efficiency, simplify processes, and/or increase revenue. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create solutions that support business strategies. Acts as a liaison between IT professionals and business users. Document project scope and system requirements. Facilitate review of system requirements with cross-functional team members. Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan. Hold test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. Execute test cases and report test results. Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes. QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience 5+ years of requirements gathering and system testing experience Knowledge of mortgage banking business processes preferred Experience with vendor system integration through API endpoints Experience with XML data mapping Experience with workflow or process efficiency improvements  Experience in agile development process Proven experience creating clear, concise, detail-oriented system requirements and test plans/cases   SKILLS REQUIRED Proficient computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Detail oriented with the ability to exercise sound judgment. Self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines. Coaching and mentoring junior analysts on the team.  Strong analytical thinking skills  Ability to work in a team oriented environment Experience working and communicating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and turn into action       This employer participates in E-Verify.
