The RCM Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the accurate, timely and efficient payment posting, AR research, reporting and assistance with the RCM Team.聽

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
聽
路 Timely and accurate payment posting within applicable EMRs.聽
路 Review and reconciliation of payments for accuracy.聽
路 Research Accounts Receivable to seek resolution on outstanding balances.
路 Coordinate consistently with co-workers to investigate and resolve denied claims and return corrected claims to the insurer quickly.聽
路 Work with representatives of insurance companies (including Medicare and Medicaid) to resolve payment discrepancies.聽
路 Consistent reporting from EMRs and other sources.
路 Understanding of accounts receivable and general accounting.
路 Detail oriented with solid verbal and written communication skills.聽
路 Provide exceptional customer service to all clients.聽
路 Possesses strong analytical, time management, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills.聽
路 Must have a working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and be familiar with commercial insurance billing and their respective plans.聽
路 Strong computer and billing software skills.聽

QUALIFICATIONS
聽
路 High School diploma or general education degree.
路 3+ years of experience in one or more aspects of the medical revenue cycle management, accounts receivable, accounting, or payment posting.
路 Excellent customer service skills, and collaboration with team members.
路 Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail particularly as it relates to claim investigation, payment posting and reconciliation.聽
路 Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
路 Knowledge of insurance guidelines for all applicable players.

This role will work closely with key departmental stakeholders. Therefore, the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the RCM Department is a key priority in this role. No supervisory responsibilities required for this position.
