The Opportunity

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor to provide the first level of supervision for the molding department that operates in accordance with company procedures and conforms to the company’s quality management system and procedures as documented.

What You’ll Do

  • Orchestrate Production: Overseeing production department that operates in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner.
  • Systems Management: Overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficiency like employee schedules, performance and training.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering to streamline operations and implement best practices.
  • Problem Solve: Proactively identify and gather information and decide on immediate action to keep the process moving, this involves consulting the whole team.
  • Drive Excellence: Continuous training and coaching are essential for supervisors to enhance leadership capabilities and effectively manage their team.
  • Quality & Safety: Overseeing production teams, ensuring compliance with quality and safety protocols and meeting production targets.

What You Bring 

  • ISO 9001 and/or 13485 experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent communication in English required.
  • Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility and handle both internal and external conflicts.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in managing technical and non-technical personnel
  • Develops and analyzes production schedules, workflow procedures and maximizes machine utilization by ensuring the machines are running to standard.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts
  • Visual acuity is required to read instructions, operate machinery, and inspect produced parts.
  • Move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 pounds frequently
  • Stand, bend, reach for extended periods of time, up to 8 hrs per day
  • Language:

Required proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
