Job Scope


The Assembly Operator must be able to build and package a variety of products. This role requires following instructions, adhering to company safety policies, and using established work instructions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts and components according to work instructions and specifications.  This includes gluing and framing components
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment safely. 
  • Inspect finished products for quality and identify defects. 
  • Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to supervisors. 
  • Accurately package and label completed products for shipment. 
  • Maintain accurate production records when required. 
  • Keep workstations clean and organized using 5S principles. 
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures. 
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular attendance pattern 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED credentials is required
  • 6 months – 1 year of direct experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in blow molding, is required.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is highly desired 
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is highly desired
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, is highly desired   
  • Basic reading and communication skills in English is required
  • Basic math skills and the ability to count is required
  • Experience using hand and power tools is highly desired
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability

Physical Requirements

  • Typical manufacturing environment   
  • 8-hour, onsite schedule.  Remote work is not available   
  • Frequent speaking   
  • Frequent combination of sitting, standing, and walking   
  • Frequent keyboarding   
  • Frequent gross and fine manipulation   
  • Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.    
  • Frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling   

1st Shift: 6:45 am - 3:00 pm; Monday - Friday
