Join a legendary, values-driven company with a rich history and a supportive culture that prioritizes its people first.   What You’ll Do As a Sales Support Representative - Cabinets, you will serve as the primary point of contact for walk-in retail customers and internet-generated leads at our Sturtevant location. You will deliver a high-touch customer experience by assisting clients with cabinetry selection, generating quotes, managing warranty and product service claims, and providing critical workflow and administrative support to the design team during high-volume periods.   Retail Sales & Customer Experience Act as the primary point of contact for walk-in retail customers and internet-generated leads. Deliver a high-touch customer experience through proactive communication and thorough project follow-through. Assist customers in selecting cabinet styles, finishes, hardware, and accessories to match their budget and design goals. Generate timely quotes and support customers through every step of the purchasing process. Build strong customer relationships that encourage long-term repeat business and referrals. Maintain beautiful showroom displays and organize product samples to optimize customer engagement and drive sales. Improve responsiveness, engagement, and overall satisfaction throughout the entire sales experience.   Product & Service Support Manage customer warranty claims and resolve product service issues efficiently. Coordinate replacement orders for hinges, drawer components, door fronts, moldings, and discontinued items. Work directly with vendors to resolve product failures and damage claims. Track replacement timelines and ensure timely, proactive communication with customers. Assist with troubleshooting cabinetry and hardware concerns after installation is complete.   Design Team & Operational Support Provide overflow support to the team as retail and account volume continue to increase. Assist with administrative and customer service tasks to improve overall workflow efficiency. Help maintain project organization, scheduling, and customer communication during high-volume periods. Utilize standard office equipment (such as phones, computers, and copiers) to manage clerical tasks.   Safety & Compliance Ensure safe practices during occasional trips to the lumber yard, navigating exposure to loud sounds, moving vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery fumes. Follow and enforce all safety rules and policies as communicated by Bliffert Lumber management. Report accidents and workplace injuries immediately to management.   Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree is preferred. Experience: Previous retail, cabinetry, kitchen & bath, or sales support experience is preferred. Experience with cabinet design software such as 20/20 Design or AutoCAD is a plus. Skills: Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must have basic math and measurement skills, with the ability to multitask and manage detailed paperwork. Computer Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale or order-entry systems. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform standard office activities, which may include standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, grasping, and sitting. Travel: Ability to occasionally travel to other company locations in Southeast Wisconsin (less than 5% of work time).
