Mosquito Joe Green Bay - Appleton is a fast-growing business. We're looking for a Mosquito Control Technician to join our team. If you're on organized, motivated self-starter looking for a position that will offer you professional growth in a rage of areas, this could be the ideal job for you.
Job Description
Our technicians provide Best of Class outdoor pest control services to customer properties. Customer service is paramount.
Main Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and other outdoor pestsÂ
- Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures
- Maintain good customer relationshipsÂ
- Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirementsÂ
- Maintain clean and well-organized service vehicles
- Handle pesticides in safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulationsÂ
- Complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements
- Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weight over 60lbs. for long periods of time in warm temperaturesÂ
- Comfortable driving to customer locationsÂ
- Willing to market the Mosquito Joe service
- Valid and current certification/license as required by the state for the commercial application of pesticides (If not certified we will provide paid certification/licensing training)Â
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Self-Driven, outgoing and personable with strong interpersonal skills
- Equipment operation and focus on details
- Excellent customer communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Gmail, MS Office Suite, web browser research and mobile Apps
- Friendly with a positive attitude
- Technical aptitude and Sales experience a plus
- High school diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), or equivalentÂ
