GB Restoration Lead Tech

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Restoration Lead Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fire restoration, mold remediation, and water damage within the restoration industry, along with proven ability to lead and support field crews.

Responsibilities:

• Lead restoration projects involving fire damage, water intrusion, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and other environmental hazards.
• Oversee the use of hand tools and power tools to perform cleaning, demolition, and reconstruction tasks efficiently and safely.
• Assess damage sites thoroughly to develop effective restoration plans aligned with industry best practices.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and environmental standards, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Communicate clearly with clients to explain procedures, progress updates, and safety precautions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and project milestones for accountability and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the restoration industry with a strong background in fire restoration, water damage repair, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement.
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various restoration tasks.
• Knowledgeable about construction processes related to repair and rebuilding after damage incidents.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques specific to fire damage, water extraction, carpet cleaning, and mold removal.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and safety protocols accurately.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and emergency responders. Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30-60 pounds frequently during shift. Occasional 100 pounds
• Bend, stoop, push, and pull in a work environment for up to an 10 hour work shift.
