Your Tasks:
- Lead and manage the logistics team, including recruiting, training and performance evaluations
- Drive shipping operations excellence while managing carrier relationships and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (Toxic Substance
Control Act, Hazmat) and international shipping standards (Incoterms) - Manage key customer accounts by maintaining current information, capturing requirements, and processing forecasts and spot orders
- Optimize inventory management and warehouse operations for maximum efficiency
- Maintain facility standards and drive operational improvements
- Collaborate across cultures with German headquarters
Your Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of operations or logistics management experience
- Knowledge of shipping regulations (Incoterms) and hazardous materials handling
- Proficiency with logistics software, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Open to international travel (periodic basis)
- Cultural adaptability and interest in working with international teams
