Client Details

My client a global market leader and manufacturer of industrial adhesive technologies. They have operations in every major market across the globe including a small US team around 50 people on both the East and West Coasts. They realize steady YoY growth and have not had to cut workforce in a down market.


As a Sales Engineer you will be a highly technical client facing POC. Someone with prior engineering experience who has transitioned into sales would be a great fit. Seeking experience with selling into - Electronics, Semiconductor, Automotive, Medical Device, Industrial Equiptment, Consumer Goods etc.

Additional knowledge of displays or around electronics a plus.

  • Responsible for market analysis and identification of new business opportunities within new and existing accounts.
  • Translate uncovered needs into practical applications for the Company's adhesive technologies.
  • Responsible for contributing to the market strategy and formulation of new product offerings with the team and the business leaders..
  • Develop market models, identify emerging opportunities, and contribute to the overall product road map strategy.
  • Design and develop complex technical solutions within the electronics, semiconductor, industrial manufacturing.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to execute on projects.
  • Attend trade shows to represent company, build a network and work with leads.


  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.
  • 5 years of technical experience.
  • 3+ years of client facing experience in technical sales capacity.
  • Customer acquisition experience.
  • Experience selling into - electronics, semiconductor, automotive, medical device, industrial machinery.
  • Experience with display technologies or cameras a plus.
  • Excellent technical skills and ability to sell independently.
  • Highly analytical problem solver.
  • Excellent written a verbal communication.

Job Offer

In office role with some hybrid flexibility

Location: Sudbury MA (Another role open hybrid in San Jose)

Salary: Commensurate with experience but $110k - 130k base + bonus ($150-160k OTE)

Others: Must own a car and be able to travel regularly within Northeast region. Must be able to attend an 8 week training in Germany (expenses paid).
