Job Description

Responsibility

  • Follow all SAFETY procedures and all GMPs
  • Set-up presses to attain standard speeds with minimal scrap rate.
  • Set- up print jobs and maintain quality of print throughout the run performing wash-ups of plates and blankets, adjusting print pressures, and registration as needed.
  • Verify production paperwork for accuracy before, during, and after run.
  • Record production, scrap, and downtime on travelers.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machines to maintain efficient production and report any problems to Printing Supervisor or Maintenance.
  • Clear unload and in-feed jams and return to production
  • Perform P.M. on machine according to P.M. form.
  • Maintain work areas for cleanliness and return all tools, rags, etc. to proper locations.
  • All other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

2 to 5 years hands on experience

High School graduate or GED

Strong commitment to safety

Mechanically inclined

Must have excellent attendance

Must PASS color blindness test.
