The Radiology Technician Limited-Certified Medical Assistant performs radiographic examinations and provides patient care within the limited scope defined by the State Department of Health Professions. TheyĀ are responsible forĀ safely obtaining diagnostic X-ray images, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring proper positioning, equipment use, and radiation safety while supporting clinical evaluation by the provider.⯠Radiology examinations performed are limited to scope of practice outlined by State Department of Health Professions regulations on Limited Radiologic Technologists.⯠Additionally,Ā this roleĀ supports patient care and performs administrative and clinicalĀ tasks as aĀ CertifiedĀ Medical Assistant as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).āÆāÆĀ
