  • Directly own and execute the regional monthly close process, ensuring strict adherence to head office deadlines.
  • Consolidate, analyze, and provide rigorous monthly variance analysis (Budget vs. Forecast vs. Actual).
  • Mentor and leverage senior accounting staff to develop robust, post-close variance analysis and clean, executive-level financial slide decks comparing regional performance to Budget and Prior Year.

What's required:

  • Mandatory 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly analytical/quantitative discipline. CPA or MBA preferred but not required for an operationally elite candidate.

  • A documented history of successfully navigating, deciphering, and building order within abstract, fragmented, or multi-source datasets.
  • Ability to stand toe-to-toe with Sales and Field Operations leaders to review results, audit operational statistics, and decisively implement process changes.

What's required:

  • Office environment primarily located in Sugar Land, TX.
  • Weekly travel required to the Baytown, TX operational billing office. Ability to travel as needed to other regional field locations across the Central, South, and East Districts.
