POSITION PURPOSE

The Fair Lending Analyst provides administrative and analytical support for the Bank’s Fair Lending Program. This position assists with fair lending monitoring, reporting, data analysis, documentation, and regulatory compliance activities to help ensure adherence to applicable fair lending laws, regulations, and internal policies.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES


  • Compile, organize, and maintain fair lending reports, analyses, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform secondary quality control review of Fair Lending files within software system.
  • Assist in preparing reports for management, committees, and regulatory examinations.
  • Monitor assigned reports and follow up with business units to obtain requested information.
  • Assist with regression testing and comparative file reviews by gathering and analyzing loan

 documentation.

  • Support Fair Lending Risk Manager in preparation of periodic reporting, regulatory examinations or 

 ad-hoc assignments as required.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication with lending associates for completion of 

 required loan file documentation.

  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This role has no supervisory responsibilities.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: 

Bachelor’s degree in business, systems technology, or related field/equivalent in work experience preferably in a financial institution


Required Knowledge:

Knowledge of regulatory compliance regarding Fair Lending

Strong Understanding of statistical methodologies with regression analysis with focus on identifying and analyzing pricing, underwriting, and servicing disparities throughout the credit life cycle. 

Risk Exec/Lending Patterns software experience a plus.

Sound knowledge of the Consumer Mortgage Lending Process and workflow. 


Experience Required: 

Experience building analytical reports

Working knowledge of Fair Lending Analytics tools

Experience with Bank Loan Policy underwriting and pricing guidelines.

3-5 years of relative experience in product pricing and credit underwriting and/or fair lending compliance

 Prior experience working in a U.S. Bank in a compliance or credit underwriting related role or compliance tester, preferably in fair lending compliance 


Skills/Abilities: 

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Strong Analytical and Quantitative Skills.

Detail oriented

Strong Time Management

Proficient computer knowledge and ability to work with multiple applications

Proficient Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge and database applications.

Well organized.

Excellent interpersonal skills. 



Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
40 hours per week.
