Job DetailsJob Location: Sugar Land, TX 77479Education Level: 4 Year DegreeJob Category: ITHealix Infusion Therapy is seeking an experienced Technology professional to join our corporate team as a Senior Systems Administrator!   In this role, the Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for providing day-to-day system administration support for the corporate network and computer systems. Duties include but are not limited to front and back-end administration of a VMware virtual environment, data security, VoIP administration, LAN/WAN construction, patch remediation, server monitoring and user support. This also includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing infrastructure hardware, software, communication links, and storage networks.     DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide day-to-day systems administration support for both front-end and back-end environments, including but not limited to managing servers, storage, operating systems, and applications to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, integrity, and supportability. Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, Remote Desktop Services, file/print services).  Provide analytical and technical expertise on system integration, installation, replacement and upgrades of servers and operating systems. Recommends changes to improve systems and network configurations and determines hardware or software requirements related to such changes. Monitor systems, servers, and auxiliary devices for performance and security -Determines whether adjustments need to be made and confers with technical support staff and vendors as appropriate. Serve as escalation point for Tier 2/3 issues, troubleshooting complex system and infrastructure problems. Leads infrastructure upgrade and modernization efforts (e.g., server refresh, virtualization upgrades, cloud integrations). Coordinates data backups, disaster recovery operations, repairs, and/or recovery of systems. Oversee SQL-based database systems (MS SQL Server primarily) including backups, performance tuning, and patching.​​​​​​   REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in the field of MIS, CIS, Computer Science, or related major from a four-year college or university Eight (8) years of relevant technical or business work experience Healthcare experience preferred Significant Microsoft Server suite experience (Server 2012R2/2016/2019, SQL Server 2019, Exchange, IIS 10+); RDS Terminal Server farm management Office365 Administration, SharePoint and OneDrive administration is a plus VMWare virtualization experience (ESXi 7.0+, virtual networking, HA, DRS, clustering, snapshots, Server cloning, VMware Tools) Patch Management Experience in Windows environment Basic Cybersecurity knowledge (Sophos Central experience a plus) PowerShell scripting knowledge Networking and routing proficiency (firewalls, {layer 2/3 features VLAN's, trunks, IP routing/sub-netting}, IPSEC tunnels, SSL VPN) VOIP PBX experience (SIP trunks, PoE phones, IVR, Softphones) Active Directory/LDAP user management Basic Knowledge of Vulnerability/Scanning Tools and Pen Testing Procedures Strong communication and documentation skills Interaction with third-party vendors/partners     About Us Healix is the nation’s leader in providing physician office-based infusion services.
