We are looking for a Junior Administrative Accountant to provide accounting and administrative support across our growing family of franchise concepts.
This entry-level position will assist the Accounting and Finance teams with maintaining accurate records, processing financial documents, preparing reports, tracking deadlines, and supporting daily accounting activities. We are willing to train the right person who brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide daily accounting and administrative support to the Finance and Accounting teams.
- Assist with maintaining accurate financial records for our franchise concepts.
- Enter and update financial information in spreadsheets, databases, and accounting systems.
- Assist with processing invoices, receipts, expense reports, and other financial documents.
- Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical accounting files.
- Assist with account reconciliations and research basic discrepancies.
- Prepare routine financial reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and supporting schedules.
- Collect invoices, receipts, approvals, and supporting documentation from restaurant locations and internal departments.
- Track outstanding documents and follow up with the appropriate individuals.
- Assist with vendor setup and maintain accurate vendor information.
- Help respond to basic vendor and restaurant inquiries regarding submitted documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
- Support audit requests by locating, organizing, and providing required documentation.
- Help maintain fixed-asset, property, or other financial records as assigned.
- Communicate professionally with restaurant leaders, field teams, vendors, and internal departments.
- Handle confidential financial and business information with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist with special projects and other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.
- Work with ERP system, along with GL Accounting and bank reconciliation
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, administrative, banking, or office experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, invoices, and financial documentation.
- Ability to learn new accounting systems and processes.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.
- Professional, dependable, and willing to ask questions.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
