Responsibilities:

  • Assemble laser handpieces for medical laser systems.
  • Oversee the production and testing of medical laser devices, including software-related components.
  • Responsible for the design, inspection, testing, and quality control of components, equipment, and finished products.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on skills.
  • Masters degree or above in physics, electronics, laser technology, or a related field (exceptional bachelors degree holders will also be considered).
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in laser applications or optical design for medical devices.
  • Familiar with the working principles and types of lasers (e.g., semiconductor, solid-state, fiber) and their biomedical applications.
  • Knowledge of basic laser safety standards in medical applications (e.g., IEC 60825).
  • Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical device R&D, especially laser therapy or imaging equipment.
  • Familiarity with optoelectronic detection and feedback control systems.
  • Strong English reading and writing skills, capable of supporting international regulatory requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work hours 8:30-5:30 M-F
