Position Summary
The Operator I performs feed manufacturing duties, including batching ingredients, operating pelleting equipment, and packaging finished livestock feed products. The position ensures products meet quality standards, customer specifications, and production schedules while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Typical working hours are Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with the potential for overtime.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform key operations of product manufacturing
  • Operating equipment and moving bagged and bulk materials
  • Conform to safety and quality assurance standards
  • Housekeeping responsibilities
  • Being part of a small team and working cooperatively together
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management

 

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Basic math and computer proficiency
  • Previous forklift (tow motor) experience preferred
  • Strong attendance record and punctuality
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs
  • Ability to climb, bend, and perform physical job duties as required
