Position Title: Executive Administrative Assistant I

Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: Suitland, MD

Employment Status: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 


Position Summary: Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Executive Administrative Assistant I to support the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) in Suitland, MD. We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a willingness to jump in where needed. This position is contingent upon contract award.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform more complex administrative tasks such as reviewing documents for grammar and formatting 
  • Schedule internal meetings and take meeting minutes 
  • Respond to inquiries by phone or email and direct to appropriate BEA staff 
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets 
  • Serve as GovTA timekeeper (time and attendance) for direct hire employees. 
  • Prepare small purchase requests and training requests. 
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Security Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a PIV badge.  

This position requires passing an extensive background check.


Workplace Safety and Environment:

This position is based in an office environment, primarily involving computer work, meetings, and collaboration with team members.


Qualifications:

  • A college degree OR high school diploma and four (4) years of related work experience is required
  • Valid Real-ID state-issued driver's license
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
  • Excellent and accurate written communication
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems; online calendars and cloud systems
  • Strong Microsoft office skills required
  • Excellent attention to detail; accurate data entry
  • Customer Focused and team-oriented work ethic
  • Able to multi-task efficiently and accurately, focusing on quality

Pay Range: $21.96 and hour, depending on experience, certification, qualifications, and customer/site requirements.
