Position Overview 
The QC Foreman role is a key position within Halo Technical Solutions Global’s quality and commissioning team, responsible for leading field quality control operations on large-scale industrial construction projects. This role ensures inspection activities, contractor workmanship, and field execution meet project quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable codes. Operating in fast-paced environments such as data centers, manufacturing facilities, and other mission-critical infrastructure, this position supervises QC inspectors, enforces quality standards in the field, and coordinates with construction leadership to ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities 
• Oversee daily QC operations, inspection coverage, and field staff deployment across active work areasÂ
• Supervise QC inspectors, including daily priorities, briefings, and real-time field directionÂ
• Coordinate with superintendents and foremen to align QC activities with construction progressÂ
• Enforce project quality standards and stop work when conditions are unsafe or non-compliantÂ
• Verify contractor QC programs and hold teams accountable for deficiencies and reworkÂ
• Conduct field audits of workmanship, installations, and QC processesÂ
• Manage punch lists, non-conformances, and corrective actions through to closureÂ
• Coordinate and verify rework activities and escalate unresolved quality issuesÂ
• Oversee and witness field testing and commissioning activitiesÂ
• Verify test procedures, equipment calibration, and compliance with acceptance criteriaÂ
• Coordinate system readiness with commissioning teams and maintain test documentationÂ
• Align QC activities with project schedules, milestones, and look-ahead plansÂ
• Participate in coordination and schedule meetings to support field executionÂ
• Ensure QC activities support project progress without unnecessary delaysÂ
• Ensure timely completion of QC documentation, reports, and daily field recordsÂ
• Review inspection reports and generate daily/weekly QC status updatesÂ
• Maintain organized QC records and escalate critical issues to leadershipÂ
• Enforce safety requirements and exercise stop-work authority when requiredÂ
• Lead safety compliance within QC operations and ensure PPE and training adherence
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 3-5+ Years of QC / construction experienceÂ
• Strong background in electrical or industrial construction in large-scale commercial environmentsÂ
• Experience supervising field teams or inspection personnelÂ
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems (conduit, cable tray, terminations, panels, switchgear, etc.)Â
• NFPA70E prior to interfacing with any electrical equipment or services
• Journeyman Electrician License Â
• OSHA 30 preferredÂ
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documentsÂ
• Working knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes and standardsÂ
• Strong leadership, communication, and field decision-making abilityÂ
• Ability to enforce quality and safety standards in real timeÂ
• Commitment to accountability, safety, and quality
Preferred Qualifications (Optional) 
• Experience leading field QC, inspection teams, or construction work crews in active large-scale industrial projectsÂ
• Strong background in data center, manufacturing, or mission-critical construction environmentsÂ
• Experience operating in superintendent-driven, schedule-critical field environments with production pressureÂ
• Proven ability to enforce quality standards directly with trade contractors in real timeÂ
• Experience coordinating multi-trade field execution and resolving sequencing conflictsÂ
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes, system turnover, and integrated testing activitiesÂ
• Proficiency with QA/QC platforms (ACC, CxAlloy, or similar systems)Â
• Experience balancing field production demands with strict quality and safety requirements
