The Manufacturing Engineer supports our production operations by developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes. This individual contributor role will play a key part in supporting the efficiency, safety, and quality of manufacturing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and drive improvements. 

A successful candidate must be able to: 

  • Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and work centers within the ERP/MRP system.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to support daily manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and help implement process improvements focused on safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
  • Support new product introductions by participating in process development, documentation, and training.
  • Conduct time studies, process capability analysis, and data collection for production performance.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) for process issues.
  • Assist in the selection, procurement, and installation of new equipment and tooling as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

A successful candidate will demonstrate: 

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and understanding of BOMs and routings is a plus. 
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools is preferred. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role (internships or co-ops count).

Physical Requirements: 

  • This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, working with live electricity, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
