ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversees continued development of office and sites (exteriors and interiors), building equipment, and grounds.
  • Monitors current inventory level of supplies and contacts appropriate vendors to secure bids and place orders. Confirms delivery, quality, and quantity of orders.
  • Coordinates and schedules maintenance and cleaning activities to ensure facilities are clean, safe, sanitary, and conducive to the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Manages, coordinates, and monitors certain maintenance contracts with outside vendors.
  • Oversees performance and maintains records of cyclical maintenance projects.
  • Assists and coordinates on assigned building projects, including directing repair, construction, and renovation.
  • Oversees building security and safety. Assists with development and implementation of disaster plan.
  • Monitors Ticket Tracking System.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of clinic policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of certain building standards, codes, and requirements of regulatory agencies.
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures for clinic operation, facilities management, and engineering.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and hazardous conditions to provide a safe work environment.
  • Skill in exercising independent judgment.
  • Skill managing contracts with subcontractors.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining working relationships with staff.
  • Ability to work effectively with vendors and staff.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
