Sonic Summary

The Welder I position involves constructing and repairing metal products using both manual and machine methods.
Candidates must be proficient in welding various metals and adhere to safety regulations while using protective equipment.
A high school education or equivalent is required, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Applicants should be prepared to pass a Weld Qualification Test and provide their own tools in a lockable toolbox.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience.

Welder

I. SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Constructs and or repairs metal products either manually or by machine

II. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Welds a range of metals including but not limited to mild steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, die cast, chrome metal
Aware of safety regulations and must wear protective equipment to minimize heat and noise levels, and to guard against corrosive chemicals
Ability to read Blueprints and weld maps preferred
Ability to have all welds pass with QA/QC approval
Proper placement of stencils
Ability to follow all the Fabrication guidelines
