QualificationsWhat you’ll be doing In this role, key responsibilities will be to oversee all operations, including: national project management; subcontractor relations; facilities and crew and equipment maintenance and repair, thus ensuring the streamlining of communications, time management and delivery at all levels, both internal and external. The Director will improve operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and maintain/improve service quality and output. Analyzes department budget requests and identifies areas in which reductions can be made and determines cost for the operating budget. Develops and maintains a fiscal budget. Provides employee relations to promote a productive/harmonious work environment. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. Maintains safe and clean working environment by establishing and enforcing procedures, rules and regulations. Maintains product and company reputation by ensuring operations procedures comply with federal and state regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis   What you’ll bring to us   Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction and or/construction related industry in a role of significant leadership. Relevant experience in asphalt or concrete preferred. Design /build general contracting company experience a plus C.M. degree preferred. Demonstrated record of accomplishment and creative problem solving. Must have excellent leadership experience, sense of urgency and a natural ability to work in a fast paced and growing environment. Spanish language capability a strong plus. Excellent verbal communication skills required. Must be comfortable with hands-on work environment. Travel required.
