We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable using basic hand and rotary tools, and eager to build a skilled trade.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Polishing & Surface Finishing

  • Learn to polish feed ramps and chamber interiors on pistol barrels using hand tools, rotary tools, and polishing equipment.
  • Work toward meeting surface finish requirements (visual standards) on processed components, with guidance from experienced technicians.
  • Use polishing compounds, stones, wheels, and abrasive media as directed.
  • Polish to match approved reference samples under supervisor guidance.

Quality & Inspection

  • Perform basic visual inspection of polished surfaces under proper lighting.
  • Flag parts that do not look right and bring them to a supervisor; complete simple checklists/documentation.

Equipment & Tools

  • Operate basic hand tools, Drill Press, and rotary tools (e.g., Dremel-style tools) after training.
  • Learn to set up and run polishing machines and bench grinders under supervision.
  • Swap out polishing media and wheels as instructed.
  • Keep your tools and workstation clean and organized; report any equipment issues right away.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and ATF compliance requirements (training provided)
  • Wear required PPE at all times: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and respiratory protection as needed.
  • Keep a clean, organized work area and follow 5S standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • No prior manufacturing experience required — we provide paid training.
  • Comfortable with basic tool handling (hand tools, simple rotary, or power tools) from school, hobby, or work experience
  • Able to read and follow step-by-step work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to maintain consistent quality.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) per ITAR requirements.
  • Must pass a background check per federal firearms regulations.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position operates in a manufacturing facility with moderate noise, metal dust, and exposure to lubricants and polishing compounds. All required PPE is provided.
