Job Description

As a Security Officer Property Access in Summerville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents, maintain a visible presence, and contribute to daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity in support of site access protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including operational areas and perimeter points, while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Support receiving, vendor, employee, and visitor traffic flow by communicating post instructions, directing individuals to approved access points, and reporting policy violations or unauthorized access attempts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
