Position Summary:
As an HVAC Apprentice, you’ll work alongside seasoned HVAC technicians to install, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation and service of residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Help load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
- Support technicians in diagnosing system issues and performing repairs
- Learn to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and service vehicle
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Communicate respectfully and clearly with team members and customers
- Attend training sessions and pursue licensing or certification as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in crawl spaces, attics, and on roofs
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Good attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
- Must be punctual and dependable
- HVAC trade school enrollment or completion a plus (not required)
