The Catering Server is responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service during events such as weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, and banquets. The role includes setting up event spaces, serving guests efficiently and professionally, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and place settings.
Greet guests and provide courteous and professional service throughout the event.
Serve food and beverages following proper service standards.
Clear plates, glasses, and utensils promptly and maintain cleanliness during the event.
Assist with buffet setup and replenishment if applicable.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Respond quickly to guest requests and communicate special needs to supervisors.
Work closely with kitchen staff, event coordinators, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
Break down and clean banquet rooms after events.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or banquet service preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 30–40 pounds.
Ability to stand and move for long periods during events.
