Job Summary
PNW Warehousing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and storing customer product while maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting daily operational and customer requirements.
We are looking for someone who understands that working in a warehouse is a team effort. While operating a forklift is a primary responsibility of this position, team members are expected to assist wherever needed to keep the operation moving. This includes hand unloading floor-loaded containers and trailers when required. The ideal candidate is hardworking, flexible, reliable, and willing to work alongside the team to get the job done.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and store product.
- Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and efficiently.
- Hand unload floor-loaded containers and trailers as needed.
- Receive, put away, pick, stage, and prepare customer product for shipment.
- Follow customer-specific requirements and warehouse procedures for handling and storing product.
- Verify product quantities, labels, locations, and other information to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Complete required scans and transactions within the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Follow FIFO, lot, or other inventory rotation requirements when applicable.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing product for visible damage and report discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and immediately report equipment or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and equipment-operating requirements.
- Work collaboratively with forklift drivers, warehouse associates, leads, supervisors, customer service, and other team members.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse when workload and business needs require.
- Maintain productivity and quality expectations while handling customer product with care.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to safely operate sit-down forklifts; experience with additional material-handling equipment is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to perform physical warehouse work in addition to forklift operation.
- Must be willing and able to hand unload containers and trailers when needed.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist coworkers to meet operational goals.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment with changing priorities.
- Basic computer, scanner, or WMS experience preferred.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper product handling.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to regularly lift and move product associated with warehouse and container-unloading activities.
- Ability to safely enter and exit forklifts and other warehouse equipment throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may vary depending on weather and operational conditions.

Pay Scale: $21.00- $25.00 per hour depending on experience

- 80% covered Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (80% covered for employee premiums)

- 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked
- 6 Paid Holidays
Work Hours: 7:0 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday and overtime as needed
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment
