Overview

MicroTech is seeking a C2 Systems Administration Support-C2CORE for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. The CAOC team performs technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks and activities for C2 communications servers, clients and applications, including but not limited to WAVE, CT-II, Mako, TransVerse/MXPP, etc.).

Responsibilities

The candidate shall supplement government technical personnel to support the day-to-day management, operation, maintenance and administration of communications and IT systems and services in production, development, exercise and training environments. Preventive, remedial, and corrective maintenance shall be performed to ensure equipment and/or systems are in full operating condition as described by the equipment manufacturer without degradation of service. Equipment, regardless of whether or not it is providing service at any time, shall be maintained as if it were providing service.

 

  • install, patch, upgrade, tune, optimize and repair hardware and software (including operating systems, applications and databases) to maintain optimal performance.
  • O&M of equipment and/or systems up to and including their demarcation points, and shall coordinate with, and assist external entities (other governmental agencies or contractors) in troubleshooting beyond their demarcation point during outages and troubleshooting, as required.
  • update and maintain as-built systems/server configuration and connectivity drawings, diagrams and documentation, and publish semi-annually
  • develop and submit a C2 Systems Administration Monthly Status Report

Qualifications

  • 1+ years performing administrative maintenance on C2CORE servers operating at an AOC, SPO, or an AFCENT reviewed and CO approved equivalent organization

AND

  • DoD 8140 DCWF 451, Intermediate Level; and
  • Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA), or equivalent certification
  • Active Secret clearance required
