Job Purpose
EnerSys is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead daily quality operations, supervise Quality Inspectors, drive continuous improvement, and partner with Operations to ensure products meet customer and company requirements. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about manufacturing quality, problem solving, and team development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead,  coach, and develop Quality Inspectors.Â
• Monitor quality metrics and drive improvements in yield, scrap reduction, and customer satisfaction.Â
• Conduct product, process, and system audits.Â
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.Â
• Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections.Â
• Analyze quality data and report results to leadership.Â
• Maintain quality documentation and records.Â
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve quality and efficiency.Â
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Â High school diploma or GED required.Â
- Â Two or more years of manufacturing, quality, or industrial experience.Â
- Â Experience with problem-solving and corrective action methods.Â
- Â Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Â Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
- Â Minimum 1-3 years previous supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
- Â Experience leading teams or supervising employees.Â
- Â Experience in metal fabrication, welding, or industrial manufacturing.Â
- Â SAP or ERP system experience.Â
- Â Lean Manufacturing, ISO-9001 and continuous improvement knowledge.
