Job Purpose

EnerSys is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead daily quality operations, supervise Quality Inspectors, drive continuous improvement, and partner with Operations to ensure products meet customer and company requirements. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about manufacturing quality, problem solving, and team development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead,  coach, and develop Quality Inspectors. 
• Monitor quality metrics and drive improvements in yield, scrap reduction, and customer satisfaction. 
• Conduct product, process, and system audits. 
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions. 
• Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections. 
• Analyze quality data and report results to leadership. 
• Maintain quality documentation and records. 
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve quality and efficiency. 
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  •  High school diploma or GED required. 
  •  Two or more years of manufacturing, quality, or industrial experience. 
  •  Experience with problem-solving and corrective action methods. 
  •  Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  •  Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
  •  Minimum 1-3 years previous supervisory experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
  •  Experience leading teams or supervising employees. 
  •  Experience in metal fabrication, welding, or industrial manufacturing. 
  •  SAP or ERP system experience. 
  •  Lean Manufacturing, ISO-9001 and continuous improvement knowledge.
