Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Technical Associate to join our team and work with state-of-the-art equipment while maintaining high-quality production standards. As a Technical Associate, you will be responsible for the following:
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operating, optimizing, and maintaining assigned production equipment

  • Meeting and exceeding production standards while maintaining product quality

  • Minimizing and preventing equipment downtime and sustaining budgeted waste levels

  • Maintaining accurate equipment logs and recording downtime and maintenance problems

  • Performing preventative maintenance on equipment

  • Starting up equipment and ensuring accurate functioning

  • Monitoring component inventories and safety guards

  • Maintaining a neat and orderly production environment

  • Monitoring in-process quality and addressing issues as needed

  • Performing required Q.C. checks and process challenges

  • Following safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements

  • Supporting upstream and downstream operations

  • Performing rework as required

  • Working optimally in a team environment

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  •   Performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • H.S. Diploma/G.E.D preferred

  • Maintenance Repair/Mechanical Experience or Proficiency required and

  • 2 years mechanical experience preferred

  • 6- 12 months of manufacturing experience desired

  • Working with PLC's, Hydraulics and Pneumatics desired

  • Must be proficient with basic hand tools.

  • Familiar with the following mechanical components, bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gearboxes, and ball valves.

  • Should also be familiar with some electrical components: sensors, photo-eyes, scales, reed switches, VFD’s.

  • Able to work autonomously and be self-motivated.

  • Able to work any shift

  • Must have clear and legible handwriting
