Material Handler

Overview
As a Material Handler, you will ensure materials and products flow efficiently throughout the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for moving, staging, and organizing materials between production areas, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring material availability for production schedules. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods using forklifts or other equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement in ERP or inventory systems.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and staged for production.
• Support shipping and receiving functions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and production areas.

Qualifications & Experience 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.

Skills & Competencies 

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Basic computer and recordkeeping skills.

Working Conditions 

• Manufacturing/warehouse environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and moving equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
