Job Title: Qualified Social Worker - Child Protection Team
Location: Sunderland
Rate: £31 per hour

Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a busy team in Sunderland, based within the Child Protection team.

Responsibilities:

As a Child Protection Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include managing a diverse caseload of children, covering Child Protection, Child in Need, and sometimes children within proceedings, with the level in proceedings open for discussion. You will attend to Section 47 enquiries, complete Single Assessments, Risk Assessments, and Parenting Assessments. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies, including the Police and Education Services, to meet the identified needs of children, young people, and their families is essential. Additionally, you will complete work under the Public Law Outline (PLO) and prepare court reports and assessments.

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker: 

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK license
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
